Dynasty Century Palace Restaurant in downtown Edmonton was briefly shut down last week by Alberta Health Services for unsanitary conditions, including cockroaches in the kitchen and improper food storage.

Nova Scotia is supposed to carry out an inspection every six months on high-risk locations — the longest time between inspections in Canada. The province also has the most infrequent inspections for medium-risk restaurants.
