The man charged in the brutal beating of a London, Ont., convenience store owner last October has pleaded guilty in the case.

Police say 56-year-old Rajaie El Shorafa remains in critical condition following an assault at his store at 216 Horton Street on Saturday night.

London Police say 22-year-old Jessie Aaron McConnell is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault, as part of an ongoing investigation that had the 216 Horton Street East variety store blocked off with caution tape for much of the weekend.
