Close to 100 people gathered at a southwest Calgary park Sunday morning for a memorial recognizing the men and women who died while serving as Canadian peacekeepers.

The 17th annual Peacekeepers Day looked to honour those killed in peace support operations. Veterans, families and officials were there to pay respect.
