Time is running out to secure warming shelters in Wetaskiwin for vulnerable individuals living in tattered tents in an open field — unprotected from frigid winds and, soon, snow.

Workers with the Open Door Association risk being fined if they enter the camp, which was set up in August on a plot of land owned by the City of Wetaskiwin.
