Some members of the Okotoks Oilers lost good friends in the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash. They’ve relied on each other, and the game of hockey, to help move forward as they prepare to play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League championship series.

Twenty-five boys and eight girls’ teams are ready to battle for the championship title, including two new boys’ teams from Airdrie and Okotoks and international teams from as far away as Hungary and Belarus.
