The New Brunswick government today tabled an $11.3-billion budget that provides a $35-million surplus and promises income tax relief to help offset rising gas prices.

Opting for a pair of work boots over the traditional pair of new shoes, N.B. Finance Minister Ernie Steeves teased “something for everyone" prior to Tuesday's budget release.
