With two months left until residents living on Grand Manan island are left without a bank, the community's mayor says a meeting with federal finance representatives went well.

Once the Scotiabank on Grand Manan closes, residents will be required to shell out $50 for a 90-minute ferry ride, and drive for an hour to get to the bank in St. George, N.B.
