Alberta’s police watchdog announced Thursday a Calgary police officer has been cleared of wrongdoing in a shooting at an anti-racism rally that left a 30-year-old man confined to a wheelchair.

Morgan Thompson misses the simple things now, like his days of riding his bike and working at landscaping jobs. Everything changed for Thompson in March of last year, when he was shot by a Calgary police officer in downtown Calgary.
