Thousands have lined up for gruelling hours to pay their last respects to Queen Elizabeth II in London, U.K., and one Montrealer is standing out among them. 

A Montreal gathering in honour of the queen brought together people of all ages, and some with roots in the U.K., to watch the funeral for Canada's longest-serving head of state.
