Moderna said on Thursday its 2023 sales would only hit the low end of its previous forecast, reflecting weaker demand for COVID-19 vaccines.

Moderna's sales target cut is in sharp contrast to that of larger rival Pfizer Inc, which earlier this week raised its sales forecast for its COVID-19 shot.
