Starting Thursday, the Mission Municipal Forest which includes Stave West Forest and Recreation Area, Hunter Road, and the Red and Bear mountains, will be closed to the public

Firefighters were able to remove the home's sole occupant, but the best efforts of first responders could not save him. He died of injuries sustained in the blaze.
