To end a long-term drinking water advisory, Oneida Nation of the Thames will switch to Lake Huron as its water source, and have its existing piped distribution system upgraded.

Oneida officials declared the state of emergency on Dec. 15 after an 'all-time low' water level was recorded in the community's water tower, it's main source of water.
