In a news conference Sunday, Premier Andrew Furey said the blaze that exploded into an inferno on Friday and triggered mass evacuations did not significantly grow overnight.

The department says there's a danger that over 24 to 48 hours the wildfire will hurtle toward the Labrador West area, which includes Labrador City.
