Mayor Bryan Paterson is returning three of the 'strong mayor' powers he was granted this month, and keeping three others, including his ability to veto bylaws.

If such a bylaw is enacted, Kingston will be the first municipality in Ontario to prohibit conversion therapy on a local level.
