The Winnipeg Blue Bombers continue to make waves ahead of free agency, this time signing four-year CFL veteran DB Josh Johnson to a one-year deal.

It has not been a perfect start to the new CFL season for the Edmonton Eskimos, but they will take a 2-1 record in their first three games as they go back to work on Friday after their first bye week of the season.

The injury list for the Eskimos is growing in training camp and so it the chance for other players to impress the coaching staff.
