Trans Mountain had hoped to have the pipeline, which supplies the majority of southeastern B.C.'s fuel, restarted by the end of the week, but is facing new weather challenges.

Fuel analyst Dan McTeague says it could be as long as two weeks before the Lower Mainland can catch up from a supply crunch thanks to the Trans Mountain pipeline being offline.
