A strike involving 140 garbage collectors in Peel Region has ended after the union and the waste management company agreed on a labour deal, Peel Region officials confirmed on Friday.

More than 140,000 residents in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon will have to make do with disruptions toitheir waste collection due to a garbage collectors' strike in Peel Region.
