Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland says she hopes to meet with her Saudi Arabia counterparts this week to discuss the two nation's diplomatic dispute.

The bill is inspired by the case of Russian whistleblower Sergei Magnitsky, an anti-corruption lawyer who died in 2009 after a year in a Russian jail.
