Cannabis edibles, topicals and extracts are set to legally hit store shelves for the first time ever in Canada next week.

There is no date for when final regulations around edibles will be made public and when Global News asked when legislation could be finalized we received a simple response: "no later than October 17, 2019" or the same day that edibles are set to become legal.
