Discrimination in the workplace, a smoking ban and the Nova Centre budget are just some of the topics to be discussed by Halifax Regional Council this Tuesday.

A group of about 20 protesters, the majority of whom were African Nova Scotian employees of the HRM, gathered outside of City Hall on Tuesday to protest what they say is the city's slow pace to implementing diversity.
