Christopher Phillips, arrested Wednesday after the dramatic overnight evacuation of an Ottawa hotel, has a past that includes an acrimonious split from a former Olympic gymnast and bankruptcy.

Ottawa Police have arrested a man following a "possible threat" at an east-end hotel Wednesday, but said no hazardous materials were found at the hotel.
