At least 200 people converged on the grounds of the Alberta legislature on Saturday to protest the Notley government's plan to phase out the use of off-highway vehicles in two provincial parks in the southwest corner of the province.

The government of Alberta will outline its plans for the Castle wilderness area and south eastern slope, including its approach to off-highway vehicle use and trail planning, at a series of information sessions later this month.
