Cases of cystic fibrosis have increased faster than the overall population of Saskatchewan, according to a new report from the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Treatment Society.

Since coming off cystic fibrosis drug Orkambi a month ago, 25-year-old Katrina Secord has lost 30 pounds, 21 per cent of her lung function, taken a leave of absence from work and needs IV antibiotics to manage a chest infection.
