It has been six months since Canada became the first industrialized country to legalize recreational cannabis, in a bid to stamp out the illicit market, but the price gap between legal and illicit marijuana appears to be widening, according to Statistics Canada.

The ad also warns that Canadian firms have tapped into U.S. investor interest in order to raise and spend money to acquire American cannabis assets.
