Alberta’s police watchdog has cleared a Calgary officer of any wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of a man in the community of Redstone in 2018.

Calgary police have identified two people gunned down in the community of Redstone on Tuesday night.

Calgary police say a double homicide in the northeast community of Redstone on Tuesday was not random and is believed to be gang related.

Residents of the northeast communities of Redstone and Skyview Ranch had a tougher go of it than many Calgarians Tuesday because of huge snow drifts in their neighbourhoods.
