The review of a handful of cases prompted a pause in the rollout of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in Europe and the United States last week.

Ontario's announcement comes just hours after the federal health minister on Sunday said provinces were "free to use" the vaccine on age groups 18 and above.
