Concerns about the Bush Creek East wildfire located in the Shuswap persist, as the stretch of hot and dry weather drags on and plumes of thick smoke continue to rise.

When crews arrived at around 10 a.m., the fire was mapped at 0.2 hectares and wasn't threatening any structures.
