Athletes for Care, which lists more than 150 athletes as members such as boxer Mike Tyson and cyclist Floyd Landis, has released an open letter to the World Anti-Doping Agency, asking it to remove marijuana from its banned substance list.

Cote, who retired at the young age of 28, is now working as an ambassador for Athletes for Care, an organization that advocates for cannabis as a natural pain relief solution for professional sportspeople.
