A fatality inquiry report has recommended stricter probationary periods for police recruits across Alberta, after an elderly woman was killed in a 2012 collision with an undercover Edmonton police car. 

Changes have been made to the Edmonton Police Services training and policies since a collision that killed an 84-year-old Edmonton senior.
