Councillor William Reilly says the removal of the mayor was in response to a 'conflict of interest matter' associated with a demonstration against COVID-19 public safety measures.

The owner of a St. Catharines salon also says her storefront now 'auditions' for a future podcast or documentary and is thus able to remain open despite the COVID-19 lockdown.
