An airport official says the wreckage of an Air Canada plane that crashed in Halifax on Sunday has been removed from the runway.

Last week, Air Canada flight 624 crash landed in Halifax. While passengers emerged from the crash unscathed, they could be shaken from the dramatic end to the flight.

Accident investigators continued to search Monday for the cause of Sunday's Air Canada flight 624 crash.
