A second Canadian, Robert Hall, who was being held hostage by a militant group in the Philippines has been killed, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The beheading of John Ridsdel, the Canadian hostage killed by Abu Sayyaf in the southern Philippines turned the spotlight back on the small band of Muslim militants.
