    The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a York Regional Police officer shot a 37-year-old man in an apartment building in Newmarket. YRP were called to the building on Crowder Boulevard around 10:15 p.m. Thursday for a domestic disturbance when the man was involved in the interaction with police. Catherine McDonald reports.
