The Zero Waste Committee of Metro Vancouver is set to meet later this morning to figure out options for the region’s garbage.

The Lower Mainland has been searching for solutions on what to do with all of the waste being produced.

Local facilities are being overwhelmed by the volume of garbage.

Ten different companies are now involved in the process of finding options. That could include shipping garbage to other communities, or incinerating it.
