Second person charged in Regina trailer court homicide

Another person has been charged following a homicide at a Regina trailer court over the weekend.

Police say 31-year-old Vanessa Lynn Okemaysim has now been charged with second-degree murder and failing to comply with a probation order. She made her first court appearance Thursday morning. Twenty-nine-year-old Joshua Christopher Shore was charged with second-degree murder and made his first court appearance Tuesday.

Regina police were dispatched to a home in the Glen Elm Trailer Court on the east side of the city on Saturday after receiving a report of an injured man.

Police and paramedics arrived after 1 p.m. The victim, 40-year-old T.J. Tanner, who also went by the name Summer was pronounced dead on the scene.
