The Victoria man says he did not claim his win right away, so he could take it slow.

“I was out on a Saturday morning, and my wife texted me and said we have won $25 million. I can’t say what my response was. I went home, saw the ticket for myself and sure enough — seven numbers.”

He still has to talk to his boss on Monday, but as of now is still planning to go to work.
