Man badly injured in northwest crash

CALGARY – Emergency crews rushed a man to hospital with serious injuries after a bad crash in the northwest Friday Morning.

Around 2:30 a.m. a Ford Taurus lost control at Crowchild Trail and 53 Street N.W.

Emergency crews had to cut a man from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life.

The man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but his condition has since been upgraded to stable.

Police suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
