A 24 year old Moose Jaw man is facing charges after a boating accident on Buffalo Pound Lake.
The man was driving the boat at around 6:00 Saturday evening with a 23 year old woman. Police say the woman ended up in the water, and was then struck by the propeller. She was taken to Moose Jaw Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The driver has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm. He is scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on September 1st. No names have been released.
Police are reminding all boaters and passengers to not use alcohol or drugs during boating activity.
