HALIFAX – RCMP say they have charged Wayne Paul Eisnor, 47, with first degree murder in the shooting death of Tina Mae Eisnor.
Ms. Eisnor was shot on Wednesday afternoon by Mr. Eisnor, who then shot himself.
Mr. Eisnor is in hospital in critical condition.
Police were called at about 1 p.m. on Wednesday after shots were fired in front of Barry’s Fresh Mart.
Ms. Eisnor was shot outside a grocery store earlier this week in the small community of New German, N.S. She died from her injuries Wednesday night, RCMP said.
New Germany is 120 km southwest of Halifax.
