B.C. municipal election 2022: Gold River results

Residents of Gold River have cast their votes for their next mayor in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.

Global News is projecting that Michael Lott, with 32 per cent of the vote, has defeated incumbent Brad Unger to become the community’s new mayor.

Projected to win seats on council are Peter Wehmeier, Alison Pringle, Henry Fossen and Nikki Pichert.

In the 2018 election, Unger won with 67 per cent of the vote.
