Police find missing 44-year-old in Flamborough underneath off-road vehicle

Police say a search is on for Hamilton man who went missing in Flamborough on the long weekend.

Hamilton police says searchers have found an off-road vehicle rider reported missing early Tuesday around Safari Road and Highway 6 in Flamborough.

Robert King, 44, disappeared in the Millgrove area with a report revealing he left a residence on a Yamaha Rhino Monday and had not returned.

King was found around 2 p.m. underneath that vehicle about half a kilometre behind the Breezy Corners restaurant in the area of Carlisle Road and Highway 6.

He was sent to hospital with serious injuries. He was upgraded to stable condition late Tuesday.

Police thanked volunteers in a social media post on Tuesday afternoon.
