Canal Flats residents are still waiting for a decision in the 2022 B.C. municipal election, after two candidates tied in the race for mayor.
Mark Doherty and Doug McCutcheon each earned 158 votes on Saturday night. The village is expected to randomly draw one of the two candidates as victor on Tuesday.
In the race for council, Justin Stanbury, Anora Kobza, Jennifer Noble and Patricia Reed were elected.
