TORONTO — The wife of music mogul Timbaland has filed for divorce after five years of marriage — and she wants him to pay up.
In addition to alimony, life insurance, private school fees, vacations and other expenses, Monique Mosley is reportedly seeking support both for the couple’s five-year-old daughter and her 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.
According to divorce documents obtained by celebrity website TMZ, Mosley said Timbaland has “publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own.”

She also wants the 41-year-old producer/rapper to pay her legal costs, provide her with a lump sum payment while the divorce is pending and provide her with alimony.
Timbaland, whose real name is Timothy Mosley, has collaborated with such artists as Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott and Madonna. He produced Canadian singer Nelly Furtado’s 2006 album Loose, which spawned hits like “Promiscuous” and “Maneater.”
Timbaland proposed to Monique at the baby shower for their daughter Reign with a 12-carat canary diamond rind. They married in 2008 on a private island off Aruba.
Monique told InStyle that upon meeting Timbaland six years earlier, “I knew we were going to be together forever.”
