Airdrie has elected a new city council, and it looks a lot like the old city council.
Voters elected six Aldermen, who all represent the city as a whole. All of the incumbents who ran held onto their seats.
Darrell Belyk and Candice Kolson are the new Aldermen.
Returning to council are Aldermen Fred Burley, Ron Chapman, Kelly Hegg and Allan Hunter. They join returning Mayor Peter Brown, who was acclaimed.
