Police said the crash happened on Highway 7 at Martin Grove Road between a silver Honda Civic and a Kawasaki sports motorcycle at around 10:50 p.m.

Investigators said a 44-year-old man from Rexdale in Toronto was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the driver of the motorcycle.

The driver and the passenger of the Honda Civic were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators said they are looking to identify a possible witness who was driving a dark-coloured Mini Cooper with a red racing stripe. Police said they believe this vehicle was in the area when the fatal crash occurred.

Police are asking the driver of the Mini Cooper to come forward and speak to investigators.

“The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area, are asked to please come forward,” police said.
