EDMONTON- Motorists travelling in central Edmonton should steer clear of Groat Road this long weekend.
Groat Road will be closed to traffic between 107th Avenue and Victoria Park Road for drainage tunnelling work.
The road will be closed at 9:00 p.m. Friday night and will reopen to traffic at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15.
Sidewalks and trails in the area will remain open while the work is done.
Drivers are asked to use 124 Street/Jasper Avenue to Victoria Park Road, Quesnel Bridge or the High Level Bridge during construction.
