Residents were asked to lock their doors and windows and be cautious of anyone asking for a ride.

At 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, RCMP said multiple individuals were taken into custody and no injuries were reported.

Police added the individual whose photo was released with the public safety alert has not yet been located and officers continue to look for him.

“His identity has not been confirmed. The public should remain vigilant,” RCMP stated.

Police described the suspect as an adult male, short dark hair with sides shaved, wearing dark pants and a dark shirt with gold patterns down sleeves and dark runners. He was last seen on foot in the area of Far Reserve Road in Air Ronge. There was a possible sighting of him going north on Number 2 Highway, police said.
