EDMONTON- Three Onoway residents have been charged with a list of offences after an investigation into a marijuana grow operation.
Two men and one woman were arrested after members of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams’ Green Team and Stony Plain RCMP searched an Onoway-area residence.
Police say over $125,000 worth of marijuana was seized from the home, which included 101 marijuana plants, 3.5 pounds of processed and packed marijuana, and about four grams of marijuana oil. Drug trafficking paraphernalia was also located at the residence.
Officers say they also seized 27 high power rifles, three shotguns, seven handguns and over 2,000 live rounds of ammunition.
Justin McLeod, Ernest Callihoo and Jennifer McCauley, all of Onoway, have since been charged.

McLeod and McCauley have each been charged with:
- Production of a controlled substance
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (2 counts)
- Simple Possession (2 counts)
- Careless Storage (23 counts)
- Possession of a firearm while unauthorized (15 counts)
- Possession of a firearm, knowing unauthorized (8 counts)
- Possession of a weapon with accessible ammo (4 counts)
Callihoo has been charged with:
- Production of a controlled substance
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (2 counts)
- Simple Possession
- Careless Storage
- Possession of a firearm while unauthorized
- Possession of a weapon with accessible ammo
Onoway is located about 65 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
