HALIFAX – The RCMP is looking for suspects after signs of a firebomb were found on a house in Cole Harbour.

Fire crews responded to a call about a fire on 187 Poplar Dr. around 12:40 a.m. Thursday.

Police at the scene said they found scorch marks on the house and glass from a broken object. Gas-soaked rags were found in a garbage can nearby.

The K-9 unit was brought in, but no suspects were found.

This marks the second time in two days Halifax-area police are investigating a possible firebomb. Police responded to a call on Williams Lake Road on Wednesday morning for a similar incident.

Police are asking for anybody with information to contact them.
