TORONTO – Police are investigating two more “smash and grab” type robberies in the Greater Toronto Area overnight.
A vehicle smashed into a “Riders Choice” motorcycle store shortly before 2 a.m. at Dixie Road and Queensway East in Mississauga.
Peel police say the suspects loaded their ride with merchandise and took off.
Investigators say they responded to the call within moments but the suspects had already gotten away.
Nearly an hour later in Toronto, a Prada store on Bloor Street was a target for thieves.

Police say the suspects smashed the glass at the front of the store to get in and fled the scene before officers arrived.
The amount of merchandise stolen is not yet known. Police will be reviewing surveillance video.
These two incidents come a day after a pickup truck drove through an entrance to Sherway Gardens and smashed into a Sporting Life store.
The suspects in that incident loaded merchandise onto their truck, but it became disabled, forcing them to leave everything behind.
